  1. How do I access HD Quality Picture?

    If an event is streamed in HD, you may receive an HD quality picture with a subscription to TopRank.TV, installation of our NexDef software, and an Internet connection with consistent bandwidth of at least 3 Mbps. NexDef enables TopRank.TV subscribers to view HD Quality video streams, and gives TopRank.TV subscribers the ability to pause and rewind live events. For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

  2. Do I have NexDef?

    You can see if NexDef is installed by running our NexDef Detector. Within the TOPRANK.TV Media Player, you can also see if it is installed by attempting to access HD Quality streams or live game DVR Functionality.

    If you do not have the ability to pause and rewind live game action; you do not have the latest version of NexDef. When you click on the video control bars or DVR controls, the player may prompt you to install or upgrade NexDef, as displayed below. Follow the links in the prompt to install NexDef.

    You can install NexDef from our Download Center. NexDef enables all TopRank.TV subscribers to view HD Quality video streams, and gives the ability to pause and rewind live events.

  5. How do I access live video with my TopRank.TV subscription?

    When a live event is underway, there will be a button on the TopRank.TV homepage. Live events will also be promoted on the Schedule page. To access the schedule page, just click the link that reads "SCHEDULE" in the horizontal menu on top of the page.

    Clicking on the link for the show will open a separate window with the media player. If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to log in to your TOPRANK.TV account. Once you have logged in the event will begin to play.

  6. How do I access an archived event with my TopRank.TV subscription?

    Approximately 30 minutes after completion of a live event, it will be archived and available for on demand viewing by clicking the link on the TopRank.TV homepage and Schedule page.

  7. How can I install Adobe Flash Player?

    You can install Adobe Flash Player here.

    Windows users, keep in mind that Internet Explorer requires an installation separate from the installation using Firefox, Chrome or other browsers. If you use multiple Internet browsers you will need to install Adobe Flash Player separately, one time for Internet Explorer and one time all other Internet browsers.

    For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

  8. Can I access my subscription from any computer, anywhere, at anytime?

    Yes, but you will be subject to the blackout restrictions. For more information on blackouts, click here. As long as the computer meets the system requirements and you are located within then you can log in with your registered email address and password to access your subscription from anywhere at anytime.

  9. Can I share my account with others?

    No. Sharing of your username and password is strictly prohibited.

  10. I am trying to access a full-length video and I am getting an error message that I am already logged in on another computer, what should I do?

    In rare cases, customers have forgotten to log out of their account on one computer and have tried to log in again on a separate computer. Since sharing of a single username and password is strictly prohibited, you will get an error message. If you receive such an error message, please call TopRank.TV Customer Service toll free in the U.S. at 1-800-943-0087 for further assistance.

  11. The show has started, but the link to view the game live is not available, what do I do?

    You may need to reload the page where you are waiting for the link to go live. Click the Refresh button in your Internet browser.

  12. Should I log in first or can I go straight to the show?

    You must be logged in to begin viewing a show. When you click to view an event the window that opens with the media player will prompt you to log in.

  13. I tried to log in to view an event and received a message telling me that I have logged in too many times, or am logged in on multiple computers. What should I do?

    Please confirm that other people are not using your account. If you have shared your account information with other people, then you may be prevented from logging in to your account. If you are worried that others are accessing your account, you should change your password under your account profile.

    If you have already seen this error message and you are sure that no one else is using your account, close all of your open browser windows and exit your browser. Next, re-launch your browser and click on the event link that you would like to watch. You will be prompted to log in again.

  14. How do I install NexDef?

    NexDef is available for download in the TopRank.TV Download Center. To access the TopRank.TV Download Center, navigate to the TopRank.TV homepage and click the 'Help & FAQs' link in the horizontal bar at the top of the page. You will be taken to the TopRank.TV Customer Support page. Click the text link that reads "TopRank.TV Download Center".

    1. From the Download Center, click on the "Download" button in the NexDef section.
    2. In the window that opens up, click to "Download NexDef"
      • On a Windows computer, choose "Run" in the prompt to run or save the file.
      • On a Mac, download the installation file and then open the file. Double click on the NexDef Plug-in file inside of it.
    3. Continue through the prompts until your installation is complete.

  15. How do I enable NexDef's features in the TopRank.TV Media Player?

    The NexDef plug-in brings additional functionality to the media player such as higher quality HD video and more. To adjust the video quality in the media player, click on "Video Quality" in the bar along the bottom of the player. In this section, you can toggle between Standard and NexDef quality levels. NexDef quality is higher HD quality than what is available in Standard mode. Under "Video Quality", you can also disable or enable the media player's ability to automatically adjust the quality. To manually set the quality level yourself, click on the green bar representing the quality level that you would like to use.

    In the media player's settings, you can configure the player to always launch with NexDef enabled. If you would like to do this, click on "Settings" on the top left of the media player. In the settings window, check the box next to "Enable NexDef by default". Another media player setting that NexDef can enable is the ability to launch live in-progress shows from their beginning, instead of the current live action of the show. To enable this feature, check the box next to "Play live shows from the start". After you are finished adjusting the media player settings, click "Save".

  16. How can I log in to my TopRank.TV account and watch video?

    You'll be prompted to log into your TopRank.TV account when you launch a live or archived event from the TopRank.TV Schedule page. To access the Schedule page, click the link that reads "Schedule" in the horizontal menu bar on the top of most TopRank.TV pages.

  17. How do I use the DVR functionality in the TOPRANK.TV Media Player?

    The TopRank.TV Media Player has many features that allow you to fast forward, rewind, and jump to different parts of the show. With the NexDef plug-in, TopRank.TV subscribers can access these features in a live show and in an archive. Scroll over the lower part of the video and the media player's control bar will appear. In the controls is a bar that you can use to scroll to a different part of the show, as well as controller buttons. The curved arrow button rewinds the player for ten seconds.

    Clicking on the rewind button once will rewind the video at 2X speed in thirty second intervals, clicking on it a second time will rewind at 4X speed in one minute intervals, and clicking it a third time will move it to 8X speed with one minute and thirty seconds intervals. To resume the video, click the play button. The fast forward button works the same as the rewind button. There is also a "Slow-Mo" button and a "Live" button which, when watching a live event, will return you to the live action of the event.

  18. How do I configure TopRank.TV Media Player settings?

    The TopRank.TV Media Player has customizable settings that allow you to configure certain functionalities of the media player. To access these settings, when watching a video, click on "Settings" on the top left of the media player.

    "Enable NexDef by default" sets the media player to enable NexDef once the media player is launched. NexDef must be installed for this feature to work. Having this option enabled allows the media player to start streaming at the best possible quality level. It also allows the media player to access NexDef required functionality at launch.

    Under Full-Screen, switching from "Native" to "Dual-Monitor" allows subscribers with multiple monitors to view the media player in full screen in one monitor, while continuing to use other programs or browser windows in another monitor.

  19. How can I watch video in Full Screen mode in the TopRank.TV Media Player?

    To watch video in Full Screen mode, click on the Full Screen icon in the bottom right corner of the Media Player. Once in Full Screen, to go back to the default player size press the ESC key on your keyboard.
